22/8/14 There was some reasonable action on the Waterville fishery today, so lets get into the striking zone, first to the Sea Trout department, Mr. John Magee and Mr. Neil Shayers of the UK caught 5 Sea Trout from Junior class up to 3 lbs. all caught on the fly, while fishing with their Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea of www.oshealoughcurrane.com and for the rest of the fly anglers on the lake the least said the soonest mended so on that note we will head down stream to the World famous Butler Pool and catch and release of the day and that goes to Mr. John Eames of the UK who caught a fine Salmon on the fly and not to be outdone his good friend Mr. Diego Peralta of Rio Gallegos Fishing Lodge, of Argentina, also caught a fine Salmon on the fly, all while fishing with their supreme Gillie Mr. Mike O’Dwyer.
