28/8/14 Come Lunch time Lough Currane was neigh on at a standstill with a strong SW blowing down the lake but this didn’t deter Mr. Dick Elder, manipulating his flies and it wasn't long before he caught himself a fine Salmon and his gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of reported to me that Mr. Dick Elder finished his day off with 2 Trout. Now to evening shift or as he put it in Extra time, Miles from the UK, caught 2 Salmon on the fly and finished his evening with 2 Trout. Wind as already stated with heavy showers throughout the day. Special note to all you Anglers who have their boats moored at the bog be warned the photo tells the story and just for the record I was not asked by Waterville House to put this warning up on the Blog
