11/3/15 Nice to see younger generation taking the Lough Currane headlines and today was no exception when Master Fionan Brain of Waterville went fishing with his Dad local

www.kbfishingireland.com within 25 minutes, Fionan had caught a Kelt, not satisfied with that and quite rightly so, they put the rod out again and within 20 seconds they were into the real McCoy and it wasn’t long before Fionan had conquered his Noble Salmon weighing in at 8 lbs. Now back to yesterday there was great news from the World Famous Butler Pool of
www.watervillegolflinks.ie when local renowned professional Golfer Mr. Liam Higgins of
www.watervillegolflinks.ie caught the first Salmon on the fly on the Pool this 2015 and as you can see he is as good with the fly rod as well as the driver. Wind NW fresh with heavy rain this morning then bright sunshine in the afternoon.
