19/3/15 There was some great action on a flat calm Lough Currane, with bright sunshine once the fog lifted this morning. First in the striking zone was English Angler Mr. Barry Lynskey from London, fishing with his Gillie Mr. Kevin Brain of www.kbfishingireland.com caught a fine 6 lbs Salmon on the troll. Now to the Wild Hatchery Salmon department, French Angler Mr. Pierre Loyer fishing with his Gillie MD, caught a fine 7 ½ lbs Hatchery Salmon on the troll. Not to be out done in the wild Hatchery department, local Gillie Mr. Bob Priestley also caught a fine Hatchery Salmon on the troll, weighing in at 7 lbs. Now to the backdate department. On the 14/3/15 Mr. Gerry O’Sullivan of Cork and Waterville, caught a fine 9 lbs Salmon on the troll. Weather as already stated.
