20/3/15 Again Lough Currane produced some fine fishing in the trolling department. First in the striking zone with a fresh Salmon in the 7 lbs class was local Gillie Mr. Sion Brain of www.kbfishingireland.com and just for the record Sion was only fishing for about 40 minutes and had to head home because he had his quota, well the same couldn’t be said for US and Waterville Angler, Mr. Donagh McCarthy and his Gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com because they caught a fine Salmon in the 7 lbs class earlier in the day and finished their day off with a fine CR Salmon also in the 7 lbs class. Wind calm this morning and there was light NW wind in the afternoon with plenty of sunshine.
