30/3/15 There was some fine fishing on Lough Currane today, so lets get down to the facts. First in the striking zone was Mr. Hughie Reid of Ballinskelligs, fishing out the Bungalow and of www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com caught a cracker of a Salmon on the troll of 9 ½ lbs. Now we head down the North Shore to Vince’s harbour, German Angler, Mr. Klaus Honisch, caught a beauty of a Salmon on the troll, weighing in at 11 lbs. while fishing with his gillie Mr. Dominic McGillicuddy of www.fishingwithdom.com and last but not least an angler failed miserably to let his fingers do the talking after he caught his fine Salmon, all I can say is he is letting the fishery down but the other side of the coin, he or she may prefer their privacy.
