8/9/16
8/9/16 Lough Currane was like the wild West with strong SW blowing down the lake but this didn’t deter anglers from manipulating their flies across the water and hoping to entice a wild Atlantic Salmon or one of Lough Currane premier Sea Trout but alas at the end of their day my Noble Anglers moral was wilted until they headed for the Bar and the pint floated down and they spoke amongst themselves of the one that got away. Now back to the weather, wind as already stated, just for the record it made a fair bit of rain today, the total amount of rainfall so far this month is 36.8 mm. Tomorrow is Lough Currane fly competition and sadly I won’t be able t to take photos of all the participating anglers, sorry for this.
