29/4/17

29/4/17 I start on a sad note and for good reason, its with great sympathy that I have to inform you that my neighbour Mrs. Phyllis Greenan RIP of Douglas, Co Cork and of Caherdaniel West, Co Kerry, sadly past away on the 27th and on behalf of all the good people of Caherdaniel and Kerry I would like to send our deepest sympathy’s to her son Philip and all her family and friends and on a personal note, sorry Philip for your  great loss and I will always remember you holding up your first Salmon with your Mum down by the Lake, all I can say is your Mum may be gone but will never be forgotten. Now to today’s fishing news, Lough Currane was  wild this morning with a strong SE wind blowing but this didn’t deter four boats manipulating in all departments and as the 5 bells rang my Noble Anglers came in and looked at their calculators, low and behold all they could only register was a  0! need I say more. Wind as already stated, overcast with heavy showers throughout the day. Yesterdays weather, amount of rainfall 0.5mm. Maximum air temperature 12.4c.
