30/6/19 There was some fine action on Lough Currane today so straight to the North Shore and the Bungalow, Currane Angler Mr. Kevin Healy of Mornington, Co. Meath, caught a cracker of an 8 ½ lbs. Salmon on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Tom O’Shea of
www.flyfishingatloughcurrane.com and staying in the Salmon department and catch of the day goes to Currane fly Angler Mr. Colin Lynham of Dublin and for good reason, he caught 3 Grilse on the fly, their weights are as follows 4,5,6 lbs, and finished off with an 1 ½ lbs. Sea trout and all caught this morning because Colin was back on the road to Dublin by 10 am. For the rest of the Currane Anglers it was all quiet on the SW front. Wind W light to fresh with reasonable cloud cover. Yesterdays weather, maximum air temperature 18.1 c.
