 11/6/2026. There were just three Currane boats drifting the lake today, and sadly not a whisper of a C&R Salmon or Sea Trout to report  and the Butler’s Pool followed suit, keeping its cards very close to its chest. So, with the fish refusing to cooperate, we cast our eyes to the Currane anglers’ weather chart. Conditions were moderate in wind and overcast from dawn to dusk, with misty rain drifting through at intervals, just enough to dampen the hat but not the spirits.
