There were four Currane boats out today, and one boat saved the day by
reporting two fine Sea Trout caught and released on the drift. As for the rest
of the fleet, their reels were about as lively as a sleeping sheepdog.
Now we head for today’s Currane weather chart: a fresh WSW wind veering West,
heavy cloud dominating the skies with the sun sneaking through whenever it felt
brave enough.
Yesterday’s weather: rainfall 4.8 mm, maximum air temperature 17.2°C. That’s
your lot, proof that even when the fishing is quiet, the weather still insists
on giving us plenty to talk about.
