3/6/2026. Lough Currane was far too wild to even contemplate venturing out, and for good reason. A strong, variable wind hammered the lake, WSW, W, back to WSW, all accompanied by fierce gusts. There was good cloud cover throughout, with the sun breaking through now and again just to prove it was still there.Yesterday’s weather: rainfall measured 0.8mm, the maximum air temperature reached 14.4°C, and the sunshine amounted to a grand total of 0.2 minutes, barely enough to light a pipe.
