7/6/2026

7/6/2026. All Currane anglers were officially off duty today, resting on their laurels and letting the lake do the fishing for a change. With no rods raised and no reels singing, we headed straight for the Currane weather chart. Wind SW veered SSW, blowing Fresh to Strong to Moderate, with gusts up to 60 km/h and overcast followed by heavy rain at times.
Yesterday’s weather, 1.6mm of rainfall and a maximum air temperature of 14.3°C. And now, the Currane Anglers Wind Joke of the Day:
Why did the Currane wind apply for a job?
Because it wanted to blow everyone away with its qualifications.
If only the Salmon were as enthusiastic as that wind.
