September 11, 2025: Challenging conditions were reported for Currane anglers due to strong westerly-northwesterly gusts reaching up to 57 km/h, with sustained wind speeds of 39, 37, 43, 41, and 44 km/h recorded throughout the day. As a result, many anglers opted to fish on the C&R River Inny. While angling activity was present, there were no significant catch reports submitted. Notably, heavy hail occurred early in the morning, followed by persistent showers during the day. Recorded rainfall for the previous day totalled 7.8 mm, excluding any precipitation in mountainous areas. The maximum air temperature reached 16.1°C, with four hours of sunshine observed. We now welcome comments from Currane anglers regarding these observations. The floor is yours, Sy. Sad world and Vincent’s right the seas are over fished! Is it 20 Countries can fish Irish waters every day?? On another note, with 60 km winds the only way you possible could fish the inny would be worming and with a 3/4 oz wt.! Imagine trying to fly fish in that!
