September 12, 2025: Three Currane boats operated under challenging conditions, with gusts reaching up to 54 km/h and average wind speeds recorded at 30, 28, 31, 33, 31, 37, 41, and 37 km/h, accompanied by frequent heavy showers. No catch-and-release salmon or sea trout were reported by the Currane anglers. In contrast, a report from the Inny farmer indicated that at least four catch-and-release salmon were landed today, the largest estimated at approximately 8 lbs. The day's wind shifted from WNW to W and WSW, with speeds as previously noted. Weather observations from the previous day included 6.9 mm of rainfall, a maximum air temperature of 15.1°C, and 5 hours and 3 minutes of sunshine.
