 September 8, 2025: Several boats were active on Currane, with anglers employing both flyfishing and trolling techniques. No catch-and-release salmon or sea trout were reported; however, it is worth noting that water levels continue to rise following Saturday's significant flood event. On the catch-and-release River Inny, there were also no reports from anglers, despite several being present and participating discreetly in salmon fishing.  Today's Waterville fishery weather report indicates gentle to moderate westerly winds veering southwest, accompanied by substantial cloud cover and occasional light showers. Yesterday, Waterville experienced 6.0 mm of rainfall, a maximum air temperature of 17.2°C, and 2 hours and 7 minutes of sunshine.
